Sullivan's Steakhouse Summer of 79 Feature Menu!

The Summer of ’79 had a lot to answer for- not the year, rather Sullivan’s new summer menu- where you can get a three course meal for two for just $79! And your taste buds will thank you!

Executive Chef Eric Gantz has announced the KoP Sullivan’s Steakhouse will feature the “Summer of ‘79” menu from Memorial Day to Labor Day, May 28 – September 3.

A cheesesteak like no other, with a knockout signature martini

You must begin with a delicious Sullivan’s appetizer-We had the cheesesteak spring roll. Chockfull of cheesy meaty goodness, the velvety smooth taste of caramelized onions and a hint of chili sauce add an extra element to this dish. (This isn’t a part of the summer of 79 menu, we just decided to indulge a little bit!)
Next up, my dinner companion and I ordered cocktails to accompany our meals. I had the signature knockout martini with smooth vanilla vodka and crushed pineapple. B had the blueberry lemon drop martini – tart, lemony and with fresh blueberries bobbing on the surface.

Next up was our salad course- we both had the crisp iceberg wedge with blue cheese dressing, tomato bits and fresh bacon crumbles. This was so good- never has a salad tasted so yummy. One could also choose chilled asparagus soup or Caesar salad.

Iceberg Wedge Ahead!

Our main courses were heavenly. B upgraded his juicy Filet Mignon to a full 12 ounces with fresh mushrooms, while I had the crab and shrimp with summer greens. We were in heaven. Hot, delicious, fresh, succulent- there are so many words to describe the amazing food we had of the Summer of ’79 menu. Salmon is also on the menu to try. We also each had a choice of sides- we chose the delicate asparagus and the creamy mashed potatoes.

Shrimp and Crab- any fresher and we'd be in the ocean still!

mmmmm steak!

Then we indulged in dessert- a sweet meld of hot, cinnamony cappuccino and desserts as I had the creamy caramel-y Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, and B fed his sweet tooth with the sinfully decadent Chocolate Mousse. You could also get Key Lime Pie.

This meal is a wonderful price for amazing food in a sexy, vintage atmosphere. You will not be disappointed!
