Fashion designer and artist Amrita Sen is
launching a new line of stationary along with a special release adult coloring
book highlighting Sen’s new line, Cosmic and Eternal Love: An Everlasting Love Story, included is a
special CD of Sen's recordings to accompany each two-page spread of the
book.
The new line will also
include a notebook, agenda, sticky notes and a companion box of colored pencils
in Sen’s signature pallet and starting in September will be sold at Barnes
& Noble, Dillard’s, and Cost Plus World Market.
Amrita Sen is a
well-known Bollywood singer that most notably performed at the 2009 Academy
Awards with music legend AR Rahman, singing “Jai Ho” from the Oscar-winning
movie, Slumdog Millionaire.
Sen debuted her illustrations at last year’s
Art Basel in Miami, sponsored by Illy Coffee and presented by Timbaland, was
recently featured on Justin Timberlake’s album 20/20 Experience and her Bollydoll apparel collection
has been sold at Nordstrom and Dillard’s for more than 3 years.
Sen was trained as a
visual artist and holds degrees from The Wharton School of Business and an MBA
from Harvard, where she was recently honored as one of the 50 most distinctive
female graduates in Harvard Business School history.
