To get into the festive spirit, what better way than to join the Fezziwigs for theatre in the mansion at Mt Hope on the grounds of the PA Renaissance Faire.
Enjoy dinner at the Anchor & Mermaid Tavern before the show in the mansion and feast on chicken, crab cakes pot roast or asparagus and mushroom mac n cheese, with red bliss potatoes and green beans, salad and soup. Don't forget a cup of hot mulled cider or sangria with dessert- cheesecake, chocolate cake, or apple cobbler.
Then step into the Mansion, which is festively decorated for Christmas. Meet the Fezziwigs, Queen Victoria, Ebenezer Scrooge, Fagin and all their friends. Enjoy a cocktail at the bar, then visit the Chapel, Dining Room or Ballroom, each with a few characters to tell a holiday story.
In the Chapel, the Story of The Hard Nut, an interactive yarn about how the Nutcracker came to be. In the Dining Room, the story of a Kidnapped Santa Claus is told by one brilliant member of the cast, enthralling the audience. End your evening with a cup of hot chocolate while watching the most exciting story of all- Scrooge's transformation after learning of his future fate!
